Introduction
Crosby Employment Bureau is a not-for-profit social enterprise that seeks to provide employment opportunities for residents within disadvantaged communities in order that they can develop their skills and re-engage with the labour market.
The organisation also provides a conventional employment agency services in six specific areas of employment:
- Clerical
- Childcare
- Catering and Event
- Care
- Cleaning
- Interpreting and translation
Further services available include:
- Helping Hand Crèche Service - qualified staff, play equipment and activities
- Consultation and Survey - local people trained to consult with the public
- Payroll Bureau - for small and medium sized businesses
- Staff Management - employing staff on short-term contract on behalf of other organisations
