About Us
Crosby Employment Bureau is a not-for-profit social enterprise that seeks to provide employment opportunities for residents within disadvantaged communities in order that they can develop their skills and re-engage with the labour market.
The company combines social aims with trading activities to provide what is commonly referred to as the "double bottom line". Delivering social and economic benefit that is harmonious with breaking down barriers to employment and developing local potential.
The company is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is registered as a company limited by guarantee having no share capital and therefore is established to re-invest its profits in the company's activities.

We have ongoing projects to support local people into employment. If you are a lone parent or have not worked before, have been unemployed for a long time; whether you are receiving benefits or not please contact us. We offer one-to-one support tailored to your individual needs.

CERT FOUNDATION
Crosby Employment Bureau in North East Lincolnshire is part of the CERT Foundation partnership project funded by the Working Neighbourhoods Fund, part of the Change Programme.
This unique partnership between the private and third sector aims to offer a constant stream of motivated, well-trained, local people available to work in North East Lincolnshire. The project will equip the target group with the necessary work and life skills to engage in the world of work and meeting the needs of local employers.
While Crosby Employment Bureau enables employers to access work-ready employees other partners in the project will work with and support employers.
CERT
Training will be offered through the Community Economic Regeneration Team (CERT) a local training organisation. Training will be available to existing employees of organisations taking on our clients and includes:
- Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Awards, Certificates and Diplomas including First Line Management, Leadership & Management, Coaching & Mentoring
- A Range Work based National Vocational Qualifications including Customer Service, Business Administration, Management, Retail Skills, Advice and Guidance.
