About Us
Crosby Employment Bureau is a not-for-profit social enterprise that seeks to provide employment opportunities for residents within disadvantaged communities in order that they can develop their skills and re-engage with the labour market. The organisation also provides a Mobile Crèche, Childcare services as well as conventional employment agency services in five specific areas of employment: Clerical, Childcare, Catering, Care and Cleaning.
The company combines social aims with trading activities to provide what is commonly referred to as the "double bottom line". Delivering social and economic benefit that is harmonious with breaking down barriers to employment and developing local potential.
The company is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is registered as a company limited by guarantee having no share capital and therefore is established to re-invest its profits in the company's activities or make benevolent donations to charities or similar not for profit organisations.
