Introduction

Crosby Employment Bureau is a not-for-profit social enterprise that seeks to provide employment opportunities for residents within disadvantaged communities in order that they can develop their skills and re-engage with the labour market.

The organisation also provides a conventional employment agency services in six specific areas of employment:

  • Clerical
  • Childcare
  • Catering and Event
  • Care
  • Cleaning
  • Interpreting and translation

Further services available include:

  • Helping Hand Crèche Service - qualified staff, play equipment and activities
  • Consultation and Survey - local people trained to consult with the public
  • Payroll Bureau - for small and medium sized businesses
  • Staff Management - employing staff on short-term contract on behalf of other organisations
