Employment Officer
Due to the success of our move into North East Lincolnshire we want to recruit an Employment Officer The successful applicant will work as part of a team to:
Develop and operate a specialist Employment Bureau to support people, particularly local long term unemployed, into work
Equip the target group with the necessary work skills to engage in the world of work, as identified by local employers.
Provide a range of recruitment and temporary employment services in order for people to gain the necessary experience to secure long term work
Recruit and place individuals in a wide range of Public, Private and Community Companies on temporary and permanent contracts
Meet set targets on numbers of clients who gain employment
The successful applicant will have either or both of the following:
Experience in recruiting and employing personnel Experience in successfully supporting long term unemployed people into work and; A wide knowledge of the area including public, private and third sector organisations operatinglocally Excellent communication and administrative skills Ability to motivate and demonstrate energy and vision
£15-£17,000
